RED, CREAM & TORTIESHELL SOCIETY CH CAT SHOW

29th October 2011
Many thanks to Jackie and her hard working team for my invite to this lovely friendly show.
The quality of the cats and kittens was outstanding. I’m sure it was a very successful show.
Also my thanks to to my steward Bethan Hollandt who handled the cats and kittens with great expertise.

Grand Class – AC British Champion – Female

1 Gr Ch – Gribben’s Ch. Crazipuss Kaleidoscope (20e)
Well deserved win for this fabulous girl of excellent type with a lovely ‘open’ facial expression. A well rounded head with well set ears, just a tad wide at base. Large expressive eyes of deep orange colour. Short broad brick coloured nose, level bite and a firm chin. Excellent well balanced heavy body standing on thickset legs and rounded paws. Tail in proportion, thick at base with a nicely rounded tip and sporting clear rings. Correct tabby pattern overlaid with rich red patterning and showing clear spine lines, clear butterfly and matching oysters. Her coat is short and dense. Lovely temperament, she was also my ‘Best British Adult’ choice.

Reserve Gr Ch – Crowther’s Ch Trubrit Black Tulip (15)

Sorry she had to meet the winner today. A truly super typy girl with a round headshape, neat ears and balanced cheeks. Lovely round orange eyes, short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Heavy compact body with thickset legs and rounded paws. Tai of correct length, thick at base with a rounded tip. Lovely Jet black coat, very short and dense, just a little unsound on her flanks.

Van Pattern Bi-Colour/Torties & White Kitten – Assessment Class

1 Merit – Whitley’s Admirari Denise Vanmeowten (31fw)
Very attractive young lady of very good type. Neat well rounded head with well set ears just a little flared at base, rounded cheeks, well rounded eyes of deep orange colour, short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Well balanced compact little body for her age with good legs and rounded paws. Excellent tail for length, thick at base with a rounded tip. She has clearly defined patches of colour above eye level separated by a vertical white blaze. She has a few more patches than the required 3, but she is truly a lovely example of her breed. Super short dense coat. Lovely temperament and shown in excellent condition. I could have taken her home with me.

Red/Cream/Tortie/Blue-cream/lilac/cinnamon/fawn Tortie Tabby Neuter

1 p.c. – Newbury’s Ch Vectensian Loveanjoy (19) Female Neuter
Lovely girl considering she is 12 years of age. Well rounded head with good width between her ears. Little round cheeks, round eyes of good orange colour. Short broad nose, level bite and firm chin. Good sized body, legs and paws. Tail in proportion showing clear rings.
She has a rich red tabby pattern, which I would have liked clearer, it tended to blend into her ground colour but overall, she is still a lovely girl.
